DBTG is internationally representing dry bulk terminals members within International Maritime Organisation as an NGO, and we exchange best practices and improvements on safety, environmental, technical, operational, IT and labour issues. Next to our Members (dry bulk terminals and also break bulk activities) we have a limited number of Associated Members that bring in their expertise on specific areas (e.g. cranes, shipping, freight, grabs etc.). We explicitly do not touch any commercial matters. DBTG takes care of all matters that concern dry bulk terminals, e.g. equipment improvement, dust prevention, staffing etc. etc. We meet frequently in work groups, project groups and have conferences for our Members, Associate Members and other interested and selected parties 2 times per year.
